越南灵子寺四手佛像被赋予越南最古老最大的四手佛像称谓

据《越南网桥报》报道，2009年5月24日，在越南胡志明市，越南图书记录中心颁授国家记录证书予安江灵子寺四手佛像，赋予该佛像越南最古老最大的四手佛像称谓。

越南灵子寺的四手佛像高1.7米，创建于公元2世纪到6世纪之间。1913年在越南Oc Eo 城被人发现。被越南国家信息文化部（通常叫做文化、体育和旅游部）认为是国家文物。

据悉，当日，越南图书记录中心在胡志明市第五届佛教记录会议上共宣布了13项新的佛教记录。（编译：子规）

VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam Record Book Centre will present a certificate of national records to the Buddha statue at Linh Son Pagoda in An Giang on May 24 in HCM City.

The 1.7m high, four-handed Buddha statue at Linh Son Pagoda was created between the 2nd and 6th centuries. It is about to be recognised as the oldest and largest four-handed Buddha statue in Vietnam.

The statue was discovered in Oc Eo town, the southern province of An Giang province in 1913.

The Ministry of Culture and Information (currently the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) recognised the statue as national relics.

The Vietnam Record Book Centre will announce 13 new Buddhist records on May 24, at the 5th Meeting of Buddhist Records in HCM City.
